All this based off two singles and YouTube concert clips with poor audio? :?
The band lost a step w/out Perry, but Cain/Schon have always been fairly prolific in their own right. The notion that they somehow lost all ability to craft a solid rocker or ballad is just plan dumb. I don't know how any Journey fan cannot be excited for this release.

Neal made a thily-veiled jab at Revelation with the comment "same songs, different chords." Much of the material, like Never Walk Away, is obviously Journey by numbers, and a calculated, safe "return to their heritage sound." That said, even a Journey treading on the past is better than 99.999% of what's out there. I love Revelation. Not a bad track on it.

Those who aren't are Perry fans rather than Journey fans?

Well I had to give the least bit of benefit of doubt since they insist on posting here instead of staying over in the Perry forum where they belong.

You're probably being kind because because it's Friday, but most of them "belong" in a fucking zoo or an insane asylum. But I guess the Perry forum is a form of both. I stop in there from time to time to toss a few peanuts to the elephants.
