Miles jamming with Gibby Ross of Malo.

I'd much rather see this than Miles being a session player for his dad's band.

I saw Neal on a Friday night and Miles on a Saturday night a few years ago, and for my money, Miles cleaned his clock. Granted, Miles had the benefit of playing songs I haven't heard 345 thousand times but, man, can the dude play. Slick, polished, deep grooves with an emphasis on feel. Neal's become a speed freak at times, but he was better when he played with seeming pent up aggression. Almost like someone was making him hold back. What's promising is that I'm hearing that old Neal on the Eclipse clips! :) Would love to see Miles come in and play on a Journey album or even live. Keep Jon on keys (so you don't have to play triggered keys live while he's on rhythm) and let Miles keep the instruments completely live.

I've never been in favor of the idea of an additional keyboard or guitar player on tour with Journey as Toto and Bon Jovi have done....but I do like the idea of having Miles do this.

Journey is the band of the working-class everyman. No nepotism please.

Trust me, it would be a merit-based maneuver. The dude is an awesome player. Plus, wouldn't you rather see Jon stay behind the keys, rather than having them triggered while he's on rhythm guitar?

Would rather have Rolie in there somehow. And yea, Miles has the goods. Don't think Neal would ever bring him into Journey tho, too Partridge Family.

Les, you wouldn't happen to have any live footage of the song Samson by The Miles Schon Band, would you? Heard it 2 years ago at the annual Journey fan party and thought it was pretty killer.

If she wanted to introduce the band, she ought to know the members first. Who is Miles Shone??

Hagar you to say Neal's that way too, and it makes no sense at all, knowing they are friends! :?

I don't think so. It was a lot more intense of a song than that. But I was pretty loaded. Frank's bash was all you can drink. Damn him.
