SOL for Toronto tickets

Postby Infinity Vocalist 2010 » Mon May 23, 2011 2:09 pm

Looks like I'm not going to see Journey in Toronto. Those damn tickets went on sale the day I was coming back from a tour in Tennessee and they sold pretty quick. Well, the decent seats anyway. And knowing my parents (who wanted in on the tickets too) they won't be up for general admission on the lawn.

Oh well, I still get to see Meat Loaf in July so I'm not too empty handed.

This is gonna be a hell of a year. The great seats seem to be selling out WAY in advance. Good sign.

Yeah, it's great! Couldn't be more happier for them. I wasn't too surprised, but I'm still bummed that I couldn't get tickets to my first Journey concert. Hope the wait isn't too long for them to come back. :D

The same thing happened in Detroit, but I was able to find some decent seats. I think DTE is pretty much sold out already.

I have no doubt that the shows are selling well, but keep in mind that other seats are released almost constantly as the show dates approach. Especially two or three weeks out, as unsold ILAA seats, Foreigner and Night Ranger fan club tickets and radio station pre-sales go back into the pool of available tickets. The venues also don't make all seats for a show available to the public right from the start of the on-sale period.

It's really hard to tell how well a show is selling simply based on what is available on Ticketmaster/Live Nation. So don't get discouraged if you can't find prime seats right away. You might just have to wait a little while.
