I won't rank the pre-Perry stuff, and Red 13 would probably fall between TBF and ROR.

I don't like it as a complete album but I have to acknowledge that what it did, it did very well. It's pop rock at it's finest, as was Perry's goal I believe. I do have to admit to humming along to it's songs whenever I hear them in the supermarket.
Eclipse, while a great rock album stumbled in my opinion with Tantra, TWIMC and the unnecessary reprise of the latter.
Still a wonderful record though.

Though, I have to say that if they took out 'Baby I'm A Leavin You' in TbF and Perry's voice had been in condition it was during Frontiers, that'd be a LOT higher on the list. Love the songs, but Perry's voice is a bit grating at times. Hence why I love Eclipse so much: the music is terrific, like on TbF, but Arnel's voice is in perfect condition and at its prime.

I didn't rank Dream After Dream because it's not a typical Journey album, it's a soundtrack.
I didn't rank any live albums for similar reasons.
I didn't rank Red 13 because it's not a full length album.

I didn't rank the first 3 Journey albums because of them being a totally different style. Although, I love them.
