Herbie nor Perry share your sentiments.

He probably thought you were one of those apparitions he saw awhile back and thought you'd go away for good if he signed an autograph for you.

Now that you mention it, it'd be kind of nice if you could mark certain posts as a favorite or something like that. Anyway, tell me what sarcasm you're talking about and I'll let you know if I meant it or not. Brain doesn't feel like it's firing on all cylinders at the moment. :?

Some here have had good experiences with him but, yeah, he's kinda viewed as a bit of a prima donna here.

He's not Steve Perry, you see.
I hope that answers your question.

Not all of us despise him, however.

I like Jon. Seems more reserved here in the past several years, but pleasant enough.
Deen was the most affable of all of them that I've met.

Anyway, it's definitely cool that you got to meet him and snatch an autograph. He's one talented mofo.

Unfortunately, the one meet-n-greet I went to the rest of the guys had bailed by the time I was done talking with and snapping a photo with JSS. He was/is a great guy.

Deen just seems like a genuinely nice guy. We chatted for a bit, he talked about how he lost weight between now and then, and talked to one girl's friend on the phone and promised her 2 tickets to the show in Florida.

Met them all (twice) on the Arrival tour, and they were all very chatty and cool, apart from Schon and Cain who were totally up their own asses on both occasions.

i think it depends on what mood these rock stars are in tho eh? i wasn't bothered about talking to JC, i just wanted an autograph as i am a big Journey fan. Obv i would love Perry's autograph but that aint gonna happen anytime soon, lol. Some of these guys like to chat away to fans, where others just sign something quick and leave. it takes all sorts :)

Cool!! :) JC was always gracious whenever I got the opportunity to talk a bit with him. My fave to talk to by far was Steve Augeri. It could be total chaos in the background, but his focus is always on you. Makes you feel like he actually enjoyed conversing with you - a class act for sure. :) Ross and Deen were great too! I would've gotten an autograph from Ross at a concert in 2004 but his wife was dragging him away (grrrrr....) lol :P Deen makes you feel so comfortable and you have fun with him. Neal on the other hand......no comment......

Out of the Journey camp, I've met SP, JSS and Neal. Perry is a very down to earth, warm, funny guy. Very pleasant experience. Same with JSS. First time I ever saw JSS perform live was a few years back at Loffler's during NAMM (was in Cali visiting a friend, who happened to know I was a fan of JSS and surprised me with tix to this show), Jeff was performing with Neal, Marco and his band. I met Neal, JSS and Gary Schutt all at the same time, and have to say even though Neal was the bigger star I guess, and he was nice and quite friendly, I walked away more thrilled with having met Jeff and Gary, they're very fan friendly and both just have a great warm down to earth vibe about them. I couldn't be more thrilled that all 3 of my fave vocalists (SP/JSS/EM) ended up being very down to earth guys cuz ya just never know, one or all three could have just as easily not been, too.
