Why do that when they can just go find another singer on YouTube? (sarcasm)

I agree with you. This catalog will run any singer they have or will get ragged.

They just need to find a 20 year old countertenor.... who loves the Perry era Journey..

Journey's not getting another singer unless he's Filipino also. Arnel's pinhead brigade has done more to promote their little singer and Journey the last three years than any wigglers, loons or sototarians could ever do.

oh I expect AP to be the last one..

Journey will have to use the chant from The Book of The Dead to keep Ross alive if they get a singer after AP is done..

Jon said the 2008 tour would be there last big one and we see how that turned out. Money talks and if Arnel ends his Journey career being more baritone than tenor, that's the price he'll have to pay.

For me there's just been too many new singers. Even if they got Kelty or Chalfant now who are my two favorites, can't see myself getting excited for Neil's band anymore. Whatever Perry's vocal abilities are now, it doesn't change the fact that he has JOURNEY'S credibility under lock & key. There's no way Neil's band can access it.

Really sad for me because I used to love this band. Have tickets for the show in Clarkston next month and I'm trying to figure out the best excuse to split early after Night Ranger and Foreigner play.

I'd almost be more enthused about seeing them if they released new music I liked (Eclipse doesn't qualify) to only play that none of the dirty dozen. Not interested in "singer x" take his swing at the classics.

It's just music. Enjoy it brother.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Amen. It's just a band and it's just music, which should engender happiness, not bitterness.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

I just can't be overly critical of that. It just shows they are trying to take care of Arnel to some degree.

Here is a decent partial clip of Ask The Lonely from Graspop.

I'm not going to criticize them for trying to take care of Arnel's voice either, but any time you change from the original tuning or change keys it won't sound the same.
