Repeated use of a muscle makes it get larger

Postby steveo777 » Sat Jul 23, 2011 4:39 pm

Vocal chords over repetition probably act much like a muscle and get larger. Younger men have thinner vocal chords and nasal passages.
As we age the parts that drink beer get enlarged, creating what is known as a "beer belly" As men age and they drink beer, the more times
they get drunk and mouth off to the wife, the larger their vocal chords become. Gradually, there become less shreeking around the house
and more order. This is not an act of compliance, but, moreover, the man of the house has lost his voice and can no longer whistle out orders
to the household, as he could in his youth. While he may feel that he is winning and the wife has finally shut up, the fact is, his voice has failed
and she can no longer hear him. You see, women do not hear baritone very well.
