I was there and I have to disagree with this reviewer. I don't know where this reviewer was sitting but from where I was there were plenty of people standing during COH and EOTM. it looked like they went over pretty well.

Granted there are a lot of people at this show who just want to hear greatest hits and that's all Foreigner is playing which is probably why some folks like their set a little better. I applaud Journey for keeping some new music in the set. I would like to hear something from Revelation though. The shorter setlist was pretty disappointing, but I understand this is a pretty tough stretch for the band. They did play Open Arms and Stone in Love and both Neal and Jon had extended solos. Nothing from Deen though. They need to get back to at least 17 songs.

BTW FMBA was absolutely packed, one security guy told me they had sold in excess of 24,000 tickets. All I know is the place was full especially the lawn and it was a great show from all 3 bands.

The pre-show setlist shows two more (Open Arms and Stone In Love). Granted, they could have dropped them if Arnel was gassed.

Deen still MIA in that area I guess.

Yup they played these same 14 songs in Detroit last night.

At the Detroit show last night, only the first 10-15 rows stood for the entire set. The rest of the crowd remained standing from "Stone In Love" and took their seats as they were entering the first chorus of COH. EOTHM the crowd sat before Neil could get through the opening riffs. They didn't go over well at all.

They need to cut back to 12 songs and get Night Ranger another 10-15 minutes. Would have been a much better show. Cut out "Send Her My Love" and one of the new ones.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't expect the audience to remain standing for the new material. Contrary to popular belief, it has less to do with Eclipse and more to do with the fact that it's not one of the dirty dozen. Perry himself could be standing on stage and it would get the same reaction; they want the hits, nothing else.

But that's okay, they can fuck off.   I wanna hear a few new tunes and there's no reason why the band can't indulge their creative desires by jamming to a couple of them.

Btw, the idea of Journey shrinking the set sounds God-awful.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'
