City Of Hope getting some airplay around here

Yep. I was shocked. Here on Cool 100 and my buddy said he heard it a couple times this past weekend in the Buffalo area.

That's cool, but I still think the song blows. AIP would be a much better choice.

yep, or Someone or Resonate, classic Journey sound,
City of Hope went nowhere,

big disappointment after a lot of radio on last album.

Someone posted AiP is on the charts, but I havent seen it, what are they waiting for?

Local radio friends have said outright that they will NOT play new Journey in any rotation. And these are corp stations, Clear Channel, etc., that have a 'released' copy. They say it's not in their best interest, and they make more money off the 'classic stuff'.

Not sure I totally understand, but it is what it is. Oh well.

Song sux. Compared to the strong hook of Higher Place, COH is very weak. I like Eclipse alot, but Jack Blades is obviously the missing songwriting ingredient.
