Same type of shit happens in the gun industry all the time: "Yes, this is a Romanian AK that normally goes for about $400, but I have it on good authority that Obama is about to ban them and so I can't take any less than $700. It's your last chance, they're going to be banned"
Been hearing that since 2008....This guy with the "Perry" tix....I need to punch him in the throat repeatedly.

So basically the Romanian AK is a whiney, useless gun with a long nose ,that quit working long time ago yet some of you stubborn people still hope that it will show up in a Gun convention and blow everyone away with it's power ?!![]()

I read and re-read that statement several times and cannot come to a conclusion as to what on Earth you're trying to say.

It's about some big-nosed Romanian guy from Arkansas going about terrorizing gun conventions.
Read it again few times before Steveo has to explain it to you![]()

Yep, the rumor probably started when someone said their original singer may show up.

"a friend of mine from Houston said he knew a buddy at a radio station. Somehow they got wind that Journey's reps were trying to get in touch w/Steve Perry to see if he would make an appearance. Could be a rumor! No one can confirm or deny! It would be awesome if it were true. We are so excited about going to this concert... either way... Steve Perry will always be Steve Perry. But Arnel Pineda does sound really good!"
These rumors seem usually to begin with a radio station... Who knows?

Since Castronovo has been vocally sidelined as of late, does Arnel get his chance to duet with Rolie this time?

Well, I guess that's subjective... I don't believe the rumor either because it's coming from a radio station--the only reason I thought there might be a grain of truth in it is due to the fact that Gregg Rolie lives here and maybe they were hoping to get Perry onstage with Rolie and everyone else...

Now that would be an incredible moment. Can you imagine what would happen if they publicized that?

Austin ROCKS. Gregg Freaking Rollie happened right there last year for the only time ever and Deb, Ken, and I were in the front freaking row.
