We're doing the Five Star ILAA for Las Vegas. What's everyone's experience with it this year? Any shot at seeing all band members/

Welcome to the insanity of this board. I haven't done an ILAA package, but from what I've read many times, you will meet them all. Enjoy the show.

Does that make you young or old, Dan?

ILAA 5* is really all about the seats!! Hope you get fantastic ones which you should! A few give aways, shirts etc but the signed drum head is the one to get, of course I'll fight you for it. Hopefully, the entire band will show up but if not you'll still get a great picture with those that do. See ya' in Vegas!

A good barometer for getting old is when the old prostate starts enlarging and you can't piss like a power washer anymore. I'm there. :(

Here are my problems lately:

1. They are calling this the "Eclipse" tour, but it seems we are hearing almost none of the new album
2. Band seems fragmented right now, based on some of the vids I've been seeing lately
3. Set Lists kinda suck
4. My wife doesn't wanna go because she is mad at Neal right now.
5. I can't afford the fucking tickets, they just seem to keep going skyward

Rainman imitations alone are worth 10 ...

I'm with Val ... 5 star is mainly about the seats; rest is gravy. Front row in front of Neal last night; and they did Escape ... most excellent.

If they don't play AIP, Someone, or at least Perry, or Rolie comes out on stage, there will be nothing special about it.

Just a comment here...supposedly the music being played before Journey takes the stage is from Neal's next instrumental solo album with Steve Smith. Sounds really good to me!!

I thought so. I heard some serious fretwork going on before the concert in Nashville and I told my father and girlfriend that though I don't think I'd heard it before, it definitely sounded like Neal.

Neal has had entirely too much attention the past couple weeks. Could we start paying attention to the rest of the band again?

Based some of the recent reviews and a couple of comments made by my stepsister, this seems to be becoming a problem. More songs, less shredding.

Frankly, I don't care who the singer is, but the fact remains this act has been working on and has become the Neal Schon show. We all know
how well a Neal show goes over. The guy had better get back in the band....and getting rid of that little hussie wouldn't hurt either.
