Of course, pointing fingers at SP for his fashion sense in the '70s is unfair, as most every performer wore effeminate clothing in those days. I much prefer his hunky outfits during ROR...even the poofy hair.

I don't understand this. Perry was a wierd unconventional looking dude. Kevin's not a stud but he's not totally fugly. Anyway, Herbie was right. Kevin was the chosen heir to the Perry throne. Not going with him and Rolie was a huge mistake.

I believe HH said SA was easier on the eyes, and KC also had some baggage on him that JC didn't want...whatever that might mean.

Here's another video from YouTube of Steve with the kids from PS22, who will be performing with him on Saturday at an event on Staten Island.

Always loved this song. He should sing more in the lower registers. His voice is unstrained and much richer, in my opinion.

Never heard about any bad blood between KC and JC...but both guys have been in the Chicago music scene long enough to have crossed paths..

Wow, my respect for Steve knows no limits. Seriously the classiest guy in rock and roll.

From his facebook:

Dear Gregg Breinberg,

Thanks to you and the beautiful voices of P.S. 22, our day at Snug Harbour was a success. You and the children were the highlight of the show and will remain a highlight in my career. For I know in the future, I'll be saying, "I" once sang with the Chorus of P.S. 22 and Mr. "B"!
A million thanks:) my new friend!

The chorus also sang backup on Riverside for him an then when he performed DSB again during his set, he brought a couple of the kids who were still there back up on stage to sing with his band. He truly enjoyed every minute

Very cool indeed!!! Steve Augeri is a class act! He is out performing; he and the band are having a blast! Have had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Augeri solo a number of times!! He and the band keep getting better. Looking forward to more new music and the next round of shows!! 8)
