ok, this is all in good tongue in cheek fun. Not meant to second guess the wombat....who gets a fucking A++ in my book for nailing down the elusive Mr Perry for an interview. I think Andrew asked every question he possible could have ask, without violating some level of trust between andrew and Steve.....it was a home run.....way to go Andrew. THIS interview, is your crowning achievement of AOR Hotspot/Melodicrock.com. Your holy grail, your mt everest, your wet dream bimbo and everything in between.
But having said all of that....lets have some fun and imagine all of the lost opportunities here. Mr Perry could have been hit with great questions:
"there are people that assert that your hip injury was an out and out fraud, expertly designed by you, to absolve you of your touring responsibilities of TBF. Your comment?"
or maybe
"exactly how much did you profit from your off-the-top cut of Journey revenues in the 10 years between 1997-2007?
or maybe
"How much gear did you smash during the recording of FTLOSM? Were you forced to pay back Producer James Barton when you destroyed his personal property during one of your many purported temper tantrums?"
or perhaps
"Do you think that Herbie Herbert and you could sit in the same room without Herbie wanting to lunge across the room and tear out your larynx? How much of your relationship woes between you and your former manager do you accept personal responsibility for?"
Perhaps that might be over the top.
What other questions do you think would have been, well, over the top.......how do you think Perry *would* have responded if these questions were asked?
