Kiss Me Softly - Firefest

Probably my least favorite Arrival tune, but still cool to hear in 2011

Give S.A. a lot of credit for putting his Journey songs into his shows.

His voice has gotten back to where it was almost. Granted he is a weekend warrior now, but so good to see him do this again as we did over the summer. The clips I see are getting better and better and he is playing Arrival tunes. :D

Great clip! Very cool to see...Augeri kept the Journey vocals going all those years! Awesome clip!

Okay...I'm not a lead singer, but if this is "great", then I'm a Yankees fan! Sounded awful to me. Maybe it was just poor audio, but I thought it was dreadful!

The verse was basically ok. I didn't listen to the whole thing. The vocals in the chorus between SA and the backing vocals of the band were out of tune. I love the Arrival CD. SA did a great job on that CD and of course, never gets any credit. They should have let him help in the songwriting more. The 1st Tall Stories CD is really cool and underrated, bad timing!

Well for what it's worth, I thought Arrival was superb. I never liked Augeri in Journey, but it's the exact reason why I did like Arrival. He wasn't trying to be anyone but who he was. Him trying to pull off Perry simply never worked. I thought Augeri sounded great on Arrival, but I think his voice sounds way out of tune in this video.

That's really great. Probably his best song from the Journey era, and what a nice live arrangement. He should do this in every show.

Schon made a comment that this song is where Augeri should live as a singer in the future. He said that at the end of 2001. Made me think at that the time the way he worded it that he was considering a replacement then. It is absolutely his best sounding Journey song.
