Perhaps it's because AP didn't live those songs, I don't feel the depth and the emotion
the soooooooouull!!! No, No...I do not!!
Arnel is a great singer and he seems like a great guy, but you cannot tell me what
I do and do not feel when I listen to a song!! Now, as far as Arnel sounding like Perry, all
it takes is a set of ears that heard these songs sung live by both arteests and the
answer is NO!! AP does a good job, though!! ...
I mostly attend the shows to listen to the incredible geetar player!!

I love the geetar too....but it's the soaring vocals and emotion for me.....it will never change!

You are a class act MG!!!

Why don't you ever say that to me?

ha ha ...why don't you?!?! She really is, we just don't always agree!!
oh and btw~thank you ...that's so sweet!! I'm>>>>>:D

From what I understand, the producers lack the funding they needed to finish it.

Kaleidoscope’s home entertainment division also made itself busy picking up U.K. rights to titles including documentaries Everyman’s Journey (Visit Films) and Amazonia 3D (Le Pacte) and the live action title Game of Werewolves and comedy-actioner Jurassic Shark for a DVD release.

Kaleidoscope will also be releasing Everyman’s Journey, the story of how rock gods Journey chose an unknown, homeless, Filipino man, Arnel Pineda, to be their new lead singer, in British theaters this summer..

Of course, it would be released in the UK the summer that Journey won't be touring over there.

It's too bad. I saw a fair amount of the footage when we licensed clips for our CBS Sunday Morning piece last year. It really showed the toll that first tour took on Arnel. Exhaustion, homesickness, voice strain. It was surprised at the level of access. Hope it somehow sees the light of day.

MANILA, Philippines - Arnel Pineda, the Filipino frontman of the U.S. rock band Journey, is flying to New York next month to attend the world premiere of the band's documentary film at the Tribeca Film Festival.

"I'm leaving, kami ng family, on 18th of April para mag-attend ng Tribeca Film Festival. 'Yung documentary ng Journey ipapalabas na so we have to walk doon sa red carpet," Pineda said.

The screening of the film “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” by Filipino filmmaker Ramona Diaz will be held on April 19.

The Journey's film was selected as one of the 12 documentaries to be screened at the film festival’s “Spotlight” section.

Apart from the prestigious film festival, Pineda is also preparing for Journey's concert tour this year.

Journey will also do three-city tour in South America with classic rock bands Styx, Loverboy, Foreigner and Heart.

It will also have a concert with the best-selling country and western band Rascal Flatts.

I think that the very fact that this ad has to say "the Filipino frontman" kinda says it all.
Why the need? I mean, if Journey is Journey, does there really need to be a specification? Are they trying to distinguish something about the band, or just being typical racist America?

A) it's a Manilla, Phillipines news story.
B) it's the point to the entire movie...
