Journey pics from San Bernadino and Lake Tahoe

Postby MartyMoffatt » Wed Sep 12, 2012 2:16 am

I haven’t posted here for a while. However, if anyone is interested, I was able to shoot a couple of Journey’s shows on their current tour – the first two in fact, in San Bernadino and Lake Tahoe.

Here are the pics...

For the first show, I was allowed to shoot the whole set from the photo pit. For the second show, I was allowed on the side of the stage for a few songs before returning to the pit for the remainder of the show. That enabled me to get a few images that perhaps you wouldn’t normally see from the audience.

Great job as always. Would love to see the band go back to doing tour books.

Phenomenal, as usual.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'
