To be honest though. The only song by Journey, in the Perry era, that I just can't stand, is Back Talk.

You're a helluva fan, Rick. Journey is my favorite band bar none and Perry & Chalfant routinely duke it out in my head for the title of favorite singer, but there are plenty of clunkers by these guys in my opinion. Back Talk, Baby I'm A Leavin' You, Homemade Love, etc. all qualify.

Not sure why they would have ever written Homemade Love. They stuck that clunker at the end of the record, where it should have been. It would have been a better album one song short of that one. The song, itself, has redeeming qualities, but they're nowhere in the lyrics.

The instruments are all right. But the words blow.

Hey I was there at those concerts... None of those band members were chasing anything.. they were the "chas-ee's"

thousands of tube topped, gorgeous women in hot pants....
