In 2007 Filipino musician Arnel Pineda made headlines when he joined Journey as the band's new lead singer. Strangely, the group found him via YouTube, where he had posted several Journey covers.

Perhaps the weirdest part of the story, however, is that Pineda sounds almost exactly like original singer Steve Perry — so much so that if you close your eyes it's tough to tell the difference.

A documentary about Pineda has been in the works for years but finally has a release date. Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey features interviews with the band and tracks Pineda's road to fame, which included years of struggle and even homelessness as a teen.

Everyman's Journey releases in theaters and on demand in March. Check out the trailer:

Journey continues to tour and will play several dates with Pat Benatar, Deep Purple and Loverboy this year.

This story has had its 15 minutes..

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

This thread is like a new news flash reporting that Elvis has died.

We already know and it's become irritating to continuously be reminded.
