Neal Schon is one of the great American guitarist, a true rock star who started out with Santana, formed his own band Journey, had a bit of fun with “supergroup” Bad English and could possibly end up where he started soon back with Santana.

While Neal has been taking his musical journey for the past 40 years, he was also released his own series of solo albums including his most innovative recent album ‘The Calling’.

Neal Schon has lived through rock history and he shares his story with Paul Cashmere of Noise11.com.

In part one of the interview Neal Schon talks about the new album ‘The Calling’.
