Great to see a legend out and about. A new album would be sweet.

Where the fuck is Deano when we need him.. I can only imagine he'd be posting something like:

"This has to be his 736th hint... put the shit out already!"

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Sounds better then Gregorian chant or singing the phone book, which some Perry fans have explicitly told me they would buy.

If he sang the phone book, it may be interesting to read some of the replies, "oh, my gosh, he sang my NAME! Holy crap, he knows my phone number...I wonder when he'll call? I can't wait Steve...I'm waiting by my phone, just for you!"

Indeed.

My point is that any record from Steve - IF there ever is one - would need to be on point musically. Fans would not want a 20 year wait for something off center. But I'm sure Steve himself knows this.

And the predictable loon bait is cast out again........

This shit gets old people. If he was really going to do anything, he would have done it by now.

Would love to hear new music or see more performances from him but the only hint I'm getting here is that he is drumming up publicity for 'For the Love of Strange Medicine’ which celebrates its 20th anniversary on July 19.

Who knows. :?

Perform? Release new music? Re-issue FTLOSM?

It's just that in the past he generally only made public appearances when he had a project to promote. And he has allowed himself to be seen out & about a lot lately.

Not sure why FTLOSM deserves a 20th anniversary type of celebration - wasn't like it was a ground breaking album that cut through and sold millions and millions of copies. For the most part, it was pretty much a disappointment, wasn't it?
