I think Deano would enjoy all the back&forth. Yes, sometimes it’s hard to follow what he/she is saying…some statements drag on too long….I just skim through it all. I don’t hold the uneven grammar and syntax errors against K, though ..individuals have their own communication style… typing and putting down one’s thoughts on the fly… that’s to be expected. MichiganGirl wrote like that, too, and she was a very popular poster. Only difference is MG's posts were much shorter in length.
What is becoming annoying is K’s continuous putdown of AP …borderline personal and over the top. Can’t fault the guy for making a living. He’s doing the best he can and doesn’t deserve all the ridiculing. Critique or personal attacks…big difference.
I can appreciate your response, and you are entitled to your views as I am.
Can "fault" a guy who spends his life copying the hardwork of others. He is hardly representative of the song DSB. Steve Perry probably could care less, but I found it most despicable that one could/would work hard creating something then there comes a mimic that spends an entire disc mocking you. In fact, I read AP saying something to the effect. AP appears so cocky (He & Schon fit perfectly though - LOVE media attn), just take a look at some of the pics he has taken with them on tour ... would not do for him to have a hit song. Don't think he is all together upstairs.
Could not imagine Adam Lambert with some of the cocky poses that AP lays down. But, Lambert is a true artist perhaps realizing that you are NOT doing very much if you have to sing others' songs especially as Pineda does - soundalike. It's not critique and not personal, just no respect for him or any bonafide karaoke copycat (only one I know) outside of realms of SNL. It's pass "becoming annoying." Just not what a real/true artists does...must prove self to be so. Perhaps that's why "poetic justice" comes around and delivers an "Eclipse."
Think AP asking (2009) to do SP's entry song (Patiently) and in a sense his exit song (WCTNGOF) pretty much "sealed the deal" of his disrespect. "Talk is cheap." Gowan in Styx did one of his songs, and it was awesome and the audience loved it.
Don't think MG and I write alike.
TRULY no disrespect, but be sure to point out my "uneven grammar and syntax errors" so I may correct it or correct you. I am VERY good with both, so maybe it's by design, a typo or you may be off a bit..... Don't make random statements - point it out. Thanks!
K.... I'm no English major ... let's just say your sentence structure leave a lot to be desired ... as a lot of people have pointed out they can't follow (understand) your posts. Maybe it's by design, as I did point out we all have different styles of communication. I also said before that this not The Great Debate Society we have here, just a little 'ole Journey forum messageboard. As for pointing out specific examples of what you wrote wrong, I'm not about to sit here and do the cut & paste stuff ... that's not my strong point, but obviously yours. If you just go back and read all your stuff, you'll find your answer. But, maybe not.

Peace.
Annie .... You are definitely "no English major," for nothing in your posts above (or that long boring one I dumped after line 2 in that Who made SP.... thread) indicates such, but you came in responding like one "uneven grammar and syntax errors" ("cut & paste" example for ya). Oh Gee! My sentence structure is just fine (looking at yours), and I read this board so if a "lot of people have pointed out they can't follow (understand)" my post - DO NOT try to read, just stick with the
SIMPLE stuff.
Your making remarks without backup is not what sensible people do. But you, just like TNC and slucero, cannot point out anything, so I get from you " I'm not about to sit here and do the cut & paste stuff....." ("cut & paste" example). That's fine - stick with the SIMPLE stuff (ABC, 123, period, ?mark that I hardly ever/never use), and retain your baseless thoughts, and try finding your "strong point." I read what I post finding NO problems, so if you find such and cannot point out one IOTA - think that says it ALL (work on your comprehension skills). That's my "answer" - DEFINITELY.
Now, let's see if you can "follow" that.... "But, maybe not."

"Peace"
