Deen sings great! Cool tune, and it reminds me somewhat of Only Solutions from the box set. Where did you find this? It is weird how these things just appear out of no place with no announcements or buzz.

Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for posting, it sounds great. Dean really kicks it on this one. I never made the connection to Only Solutions but man you are spot on. Great observation. Dean sounds a lot like Steve on Only Solutions, wow.

Pretty good. I've always preferred Deen's voice to Arnel, so cool to hear. Parts of the guitar solo remind me of Can't Tame the Lion. Wonder if this was one written with Blades. Feels like some of his influence in there.

Cool tune! Journey shoulda done this one.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

It won't play on my phone for whatever reason. However I am sure it is another classic from the songwriting kitchen of Blades/Schon. This guy would've elevated Revelation and Eclipse to two of the best modern AOR releases in history.

Educational at least. Now we know "Serenity" is at least 4' 9" high.

Seriously, didn't sound too bad. I liked it better than everything on Eclipse.....combined.

Sounds like Journey. Catchy feel-good simple chorus...."Midnight calling my name..." I like it! :)

yep, pure Journey. Surprised they didn't save this one for the main band. Deen is turning into one heck of a singer also...

Sounds a lot like J w/o Cain's keyboards added. I don't know, listening to the few tracks that have been out there, I just get a blah feeling. They are okay, but if they were done by no name musicians, would anyone notice. Maybe it's a just a grower type album you need to listen to a few times.

I haven't been blown-away by the samples yet either. But I've noticed in the past that I am quite often unimpressed by sample clips, and then wind up loving the songs when I hear them all of the way through on a CD.

Hopefully that will be the case this time too!

Agreed with all the comments....vintage Journey song.
LOL with 2nd comment on YT ...jjvideo something... "sounds like Perry" -- yes, it does! There's a reason why Deen does so well when he gets to sing a few songs in concert.
Only Solutions ... yeah ... very similar.

Great song; called it! :D

Sure, if you listened to 'City of Hope' for 20 seconds and then never bothered to finish the rest of the album.
You guys don't like this track from Eclipse? It's classic, classic, CLASSIC Journey! If not, it may be time to burn your Journeyforce newsletters and start listening to Nickelback.
