Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

I wonder if the names mean something OTHER than who is singing. I mean, why would they need to point out that Arnel is singing Place In Your Heart?

It has to be a spotlight cue for who is going to be introducing the song, right? Why in the world would Neal sing Lights? And Ross on Ritual?

What would be better than the crap off Eclipse.
Escape
Still They Ride
Who's Crying Now
Feelin That Way/Anyway
Just The Same Way
After The Fall
Girl Can't Help It
I'll Be Alright Without You
Never Walk Away
Message of Love
When You Love A Woman
Where Were You?
The Party's Over

That setlist just convinced me NOT to see them this summer. #sucks

AWESOME.
Wait, I'm hoping that the names in parens aren't who's singing the tunes.... ROSS??? No way...
HAS to be cues.

JOURNEY- IF YOU'RE NOT DOING 'SOMEBODY' YOU'RE MISSING THE BOAT...
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Of course none of the newer cuts made it out onto YouTube, just the classics. Even AP's FB posted only the old songs. If they won't get behind their newer music, how can they expect anyone else to?

A Rags-to-Riches Journey

Journey's new lead singer, Arnel Pineda, told Dita Quinones his true rags-to-riches story -- before the classic rock legends rocked the lights out at Sleep Train Amphitheatre.

Agreed. That's refreshing to see. She's a Mystery would be an AWESOME song to witness live from the new material. That song was kind of the sleeper for me on the album along with "To Whom It May Concern". Love that one.

"Sleep Train" Amphitheatre? Sounds like a rockin' venue, good grief. :( When these companies buy the name to a venue, I don't understand why we don't just take the money but then keep on calling it whatever we did before, seriously. I used to live in Seattle, and they have Key (bank) arena, Comcast stadium, etc., but I always just called it Seattle coliseum and Seahawks stadium. I hate this marketing graffiti all over everything. I wish our community venues were not for sale like that, it is just wrong.
