Def. not Arnel's finest moment.

Poor AP … most of the posts in the comments section were pretty brutal.
One said it sounded like he had a sore throat.

Could be he wanted to sing the song in more hoarse delivery - similar to SP’s original take. Then, again, Arnel has been on tour w/J, singing the high-octane songs, for what - 8 yrs now? He’s also close to 50 -no spring chicken for a singer. His voice just might be changing.

I'm gonna ignore this. I listened to a few seconds, but he's normally much better.

Doesn't Arnel deal with bad acid reflux? Either way, this song was something of struggle.

Wow, Arnel is fine but it really makes me appreciate how good Mr Perry is when he's singing.

I didn't think Arnel was as bad as the general consensus on here...but the acoustic setting of the song was pretty bad.

If you play acoustic use a real acoustic guitar not a Parker The Fly electric guitar with piëzo pickup(sounds real thin).
Arnels vocals were bonedry not a reverb on it,both guitar and vocals could use a little rev.
Arnel should be a little more demanding next time.
But fair is fair he had a few bum notes in there ..shit happens

I agree that it's most likely Arnel's attempt to make his voice sound a little raspy to project closely to Perry's sound. Sometimes that doesn't always turn out so well and such a good idea.
God better be wearing his titanium cup when I arrive to be judged, cause the very first thing I'm going to do is break my foot off in his balls. Liberals and Dems are proof that Satan has, to some extent, a sense of humor.
