However, it would be cool though to see Greg Rolie join Journey for "Just the Same Way and "Anytime".

Journey with Gregg Rolie would be part one and they can jam with the early pre-Perry material. Also, they can throw in some of Gregg's later songs such as Just the Same Way, Feeling That Way and Anytime.
Journey with Jon would, of course, be part two. And they would have enough time to reach beyond the dirty dozen.

They did this for a bit (without Rolie of course) on the Generations tour and according to Schon it went over like a Lead Balloon.

However, as the recent shows suggest, I doubt we would see that much interplay between the bands. If that's the case, then why bother? I mean, to me it's kind of a slap in the face to have Gregg Rolie in the building, but have him not come out to do Feeling That Way/Anytime or Just the Same Way. Just a total missed opportunity.
PS - Has anyone else noticed the topic now seems to suggest a tour with Journey and Santa?

to hear a couple
Pre Perry songs, especially on a Saturday nite, of a lifetime, and next with Arnel,
not too mention Feeling that way/Anytime, Just the Same way, People and places and Someday soon.

If Perry ever comes back Journey shouldn't ever have to do a co headlining tour again.
