Listen to Journey - "Any Way You Want It" by The KLOS Sessions on #SoundCloud

Neat bit of audio. Bit old so maybe already been posted. Some inaccuracies

Thought this would have got a few responses tbh. They play the individual track for each instrument

Yep, great listen.
So odd to hear the Rolie organ isolated.

Thanks for sharing. The inaccuracies had me screaming at the computer  , but still cool to hear the tracks. I had heard the vocal track and the chorus track before, but never the isolated bass (cool walk up parts), drums, guitar, and the separation of the mellotron and organ. Lots of classic tracks featured.

There's a musician named Rick Beato who is a big Journey fan, and he posts a lot of videos that he makes himself on Youtube.
He has one called "What Makes This Song Great" that is about Don't Stop Believin'.

He plays the separate tracks of the guitar, piano, drums, bass and parts of Perry's vocals.

Beato also mentions Neal Schon in his guitarists of the 70s and guitarists of the 80s videos. He loves Schon's playing. He names Schon's solo at the end of Stone In Love as being the #5 best guitar solo ever.

Beato is cool -- although for seemingly like such a prevalent and knowledgeable figure in the industry you wonder why his name hasn't come up much aside from his youtube contributions. I think Neal called him out on Twitter around the time that video was posted and questioned how/where he got the tracks and also to correct him on the gear that was used -- not that I'd know either way. I tend to not be fond of "Top" lists due to being subjective and you'll know what I mean if you look at the comment section on any of his lists.
