I have to admit I was distracted by how bad the mix was on YouTube. I would highly recommend you listen to this song in a high bitrate format. I can clearly hear the sound they were going for. It sounds like they wanted the vocals to be out of a megaphone while the band played processed normally. Not exactly sure how to explain that, but it’s a huge difference. The voice distortion and chorus effect are lost on low quality streaming. I would suggest they lower the bitrate using studio equipment instead of loading the master quality track to YouTube and letting it compress the sound.

Yeah, while not perfect by any stretch I definitely like the physical release version of the album much better than the streaming singles we got initially. This album just flat out doesn't lend itself to streaming compression well at all.
