But anyone have an idea what this weirdness could be: I ordered the Blu-ray and DVD/CD package through Frontiers. Got 'em yesterday. This morning I got a package from Sony Music with the Blu-ray. I didn't order another copy and why would it come from Sony?

I assume that it's on Amazon?

Thanks for the info!
Does the video quality of the Blu/ray look good to you?

-Auto-tune/post-production tweaking is apparent on Pineda's voice.
- Narada and Marco are both gone from the band. Neal has since openly criticized Marco's playing. This lineup is just a strange blip in Journey history.
-Artwork is a crude ugly stencil.

Not even sure how you can compare the two. Fans were starved for content back then. I had to go to a Suncoast video at the mall and special order 2001. The band has a much higher profile now and fans should expect a quality product. This ain't it.
