Is the plan still for them to play stadiums with Def Leppard?

No

I'm not sure that a third Journey and Def Leppard tour would sell well in stadiums at this point anyway.

Musically, TOTO complimented the band very well. Maybe they will reschedule with Billy Idol. Otherwise I could see the usual candidates: REO, Styx, Loverboy. Sometimes they have been paired with acts (Dave Mason, Pat Benatar) that I didn't foresee. Really, at this point, I could see Neal pushing to open for the band with himself, Teddy Swims, and his wife on-stage with him. You think I'm joking? Save this post, put it in a time capsule, and apologize to me later.

I could completely see that. A bit surprised they haven't tried to get her a record contract at some point.

I found out that Neal wrote a song about his wife, but for some reason he had the band Bare Naked Ladies record it instead. It's called "You Can Be My Yoko Ono."

On social media, Neal said to Steve Maggiora (of TOTO) "see you next year."

Sounds like the plan is to just go out with TOTO again.

Question is....does either band have anything new to support / play?

TOTO is done with new records and as of now, hasn't used TOTO to push new Luke, JW, or Dave solo stuff.

As for Journey, I can't see them recording anything in the new future.

Not that it really matters. The purpose of touring these days is the tour itself - not album sales/promotion.

Journey has been a nostalgia band since the Vacation's Over tour.

Yes

I take it no one else will tour with them at this point?
