Why did SP keep these 3 songs off Strange Medicine?

1. Lost Angels
2. Let Go
3. Somebody Somewhere

All excellent songs, better than most (if not all) on the actual album.

Why did SP keep them off and what are the odds those demos will ever be cleaned up and released officially?

Fan of all of these.

Better than some stuff on Traces!

All great songs. Would be awesome of Perry released some of the unrealeased tracks from FTLOSM. There is no doubt he has a fat stack of unreleased material just laying around yearning to be heard.

These songs are better than some of the ones that made the cut on the album, I would love to hear a properly mixed and released version of all three.

Were these to be on "Against The Wall"? Who canceled that, Sony or Perry?

There are a few on here that I had not heard before, too...

Yes, a lot of them were from Against the Wall. I believe it was Sony (Columbia) who shelved it, from an interview that I read years ago.

From the Greatest Hits + 5 liner notes:
In January of '88 I began writing and recording my second solo album "Against the Wall." Unfortunately, it was never released. These tapes have been locked away, patiently waiting. Here are seven of my favorite tracks.

Whatever reason, it's a shame it never was released because it probably would have done very well. Maybe the upcoming release of Journey's Greatest Hits had some sort of impact on it?

Nooo shot these were supposed to be on Against the Wall. His vocal tone sounds identical to FTLOSM.
