Lead Singer Tour

Postby JourneyHard » Fri Jan 03, 2025 1:25 pm

Maybe it is time for the lead singer tour with Dennis DeYoung, Lou Gramm, Kevin Cronin, and Steve Perry. Perry claims performing for over an hour will be too taxing on his body. So, tour with these guys and each singer can sing eleven songs. I figure that will take three hours. It would be a solid concert. I would go. Have it in October, November and December and then Perry can sing his Christmas songs in December. I think Kevin is good friends with the current lineup of Styx and probably hates Dennis DeYoung, So this won't happen, but it is a great idea! Anything to get Perry back on tour one last time!

Jimi Jamison, Mike Reno, Bobby Kimball, Joe Lynn Turner, Ben Orr, Mickey Thomas and a bunch of other famous singers have already had Voices Of Classic Rock shows. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voices_of_Classic_Rock

Your idea would be similar to that.

For the 100th time, Perry is not going to to tour and/or sing live.

He drops just enough hints to keep the loons salivating but that's as close as we'll ever see to Perry singing a song live, let alone a full set or a tour.
