Hear N Aid

Every time Steve Perry does something cool, Neal Schon does something cooler. Steve Perry was part of "We Are the World." But Neal Schon was part of the heavy metal version "Stars."

This was essentially unknown at the time so I am not sure if I would say it is "cooler". I would say "Stars" is an OK song, very much in the style of the day. If you watch the documentary and see each guitarist do their solo and then listen to the song, you will find that Neal's solo gets the most time out of all of them. But, "USA For Africa" and even "Band Aid", which was the original from Brittan that had "Do They Know It's Christmas", were much more well known. I did not know of Hear'n Aid until years after it happened from somebody who sent me the documentary and Stars video on VHS.
