A collaboration I never saw coming. Wondering if it is new, or just previously unreleased.

Enuff Z’Nuff is back and dishing out a delicious dose with Xtra Cherries —their highly anticipated 21st studio album, dropping July 25th via Cleopatra Records. The album is packed with their signature blend of power pop and melodic rock. Just when you think it couldn’t get sweeter, Chip Z’nuff (vocal, bass, guitar), Jason Camino (guitar), Luis Kalil (guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums) brought their musical vision to life by tapping into a diverse pool of talented musicians from the rock world to add some extra flavor. The all-star guests include Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Robert Fleischman (ex-Journey/Vinnie Vincent Invasion), Neal Schon (Journey), Steven Adler (ex-Guns n’ Roses), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), and Gunnar Nelson.

The intro is “Deep Forest” off of Scon’s solo album. The main Melody is also a journey song but I can’t recall which one, deep cut

Definitely 'Deep Forest' from Beyond The Thunder. Good catch! I also hear a melody progression from 'Fly High Michelle' in the piano line. As far as Journey, maybe something from the Augeri years? I remember a slight psychedelic Beatles feel on something back then, and EZ has always had that going on.

The vocals are interesting. I wonder if it's all Robert Fleishman, or not. I hear a young Neal Schon singing everywhere, whether it's a layered lead, or backing.
