JSS on new Perry Tribute Album

Cleopatra Records, which has released multiple tribute albums (Rush, Journey, Garth Brooks), is apparently working on a Steve Perry tribute album.
JSS will be on it and has chosen to do a rendition of Oh Sherrie. His FB post is included below.

So…as all who follow me know I do many vocal sessions in between live dates/tours. I’ve done a lot of tributes through the years especially for Cleopatra Records so when they came to me with this one, I needed to sleep on it.
When I woke up next day, I realized YES, OF COURSE I will do this!. I was asked to do a ‘rocked up’ version of Steve Perry’s ‘Oh, Sherrie’, a song I have loved from day one. The hesitation came from NOT wanting any negative comments/content regarding ANY intention or attention grabs.
For me, it’s about paying homage to a song from my vocal HERO, putting aside his or my involvement with Journey. I hope it’s received this way because its how I just sang it. I have NO idea when it will be done or released but I was so excited about i I requested permission to mention it here…I hope you will all be happy with the results, watch this space!

"Cleopatra Records" is the label that released the "A Tribute To Journey" album years ago. This is the album that had Mickey Thomas and Tommy Shaw on it. it will be interesting to see who they get...and if it is strictly Perry solo or if it will have Journey songs included. I'd really, really like to hear Lzzy Hale on this but she may be a bit of a long shot.
