Nice thudding AI bass line and Perry vocal, but the chorus doesn't really work for me. The solo also sounds very little like Neal.
You think this is better than actual post-ROR songs like Message of Love? Higher Place? Faith In The Heartland? Chang For The Better? Tantra?

Agreed. I like it, but that's not a Neal solo. This feels more like one of the Against the Wall/Strange Medicine demos.

Not sure what I was expecting....but it wasn't that. That is actually a really good song. It sounds like a demo that needs to be polished up. But, wow, that's impressive for AI.

Not sure what I was expecting....but it wasn't that. That is actually a really good song. It sounds like a demo that needs to be polished up. But, wow, that's impressive for AI.

I just realized I forgot to comment on this song when I thought I did.........yeah this one freaked me out a bit. Back in my cassette bootleg trading days, if I came across this one I would have easily thought it was legit and and a good demo like you said, I'd venture from the early 80's. To me even the drum sound is like '79-'80 to my ears. Whoever this guy is that ran the necessary info through the AI machine did their homework and has to be a Journey fan to get little details of Perry's voice down so close to perfectly. Scary but kinda cool!

How do you all feel about AI generated music such as these songs?

They're a novelty, and usually not that great. The one I was talking about "Don't Leave Me Alone" was an outlier though, that one somehow got the formula closer than I've ever heard, mostly for the Perry accuracy and weirdly accurate drum echo. I wouldn't mind hearing some more from that creator. Of course there is not a note that sounds like Neal's playing though so that is a detractor but a signature guitar playing style is a hell of a lot harder to recreate with AI than vocals it seems.

on one hand, it's adding to the bleakness of whatever is left of humanity and will play a part in leading us to our doom, but on the other hand... there's nothing we can do about it and it's quite neat
