Concert dates in Europe

From Portugal, do you know, any concert dates here in Europe.

PS: I prefer Journey with Perry, but with Augery, it´s not the same but ........

There aren't any European tour dates planned. You can always check out www.journeymusic.com for the latest tour information.

There is a better chance of Steve Perry re joining the band, than the band EVER coming to play dates in Europe.

If they were gonna come to Europe they would have done it a long time ago. It's too late in the day now.

The only way they would come to Europe would be as support to some Popular band. I got that answer straight from the horses mouth (Neal Schon) in 2001. They were looking into it then, and that was 3 years ago.
It aint gonna happen.

HEY Mystic! Where did you talk to Neal??

Myself and my brother met all the guy's after the shows In Tampa and West Palm Beach, FL in 2001. It was really cool, and they were all superb guy's.
Neal and Jon didn't say too much really, but Steve, Ross, and Deen were talking a lot to us although time was short. Had our pics taken, the lot. It was so cool.
My brother asked Neal the question regarding Europe, and he said that they were looking into it at that time. They were looking at maybe coming over as support to a big name band over in Europe. It seemed that Neal was well aware that Journey isn't a popular name in europe, and that supporting someone may be the better option.

I'm sure they could easily sell out an arena tour in the UK, considering they haven't played here in a long time. Hopefully the RUSH tour in the UK may have opened their eyes, those tickets sold very quickly.

Its good to have a bouyant attitude,by thinking that the band could 'sell out an arena tour', but in the UK??? Man, they are not even doing that in their homeland now. They are playing Casino's!!!!

I would'nt dare to throw any audience figures around, as to how many would go to see Journey if they played the UK, but arena's?? No chance...

Places like Germany, yes they would do better, but the UK is a different ball game to the rest of Europe. Just how many people do you seriously feel would go to a Journey show in the UK? Not many.

People are under a strange impression that the band are popular here.They are NOT. Never have been, and certainly never will be now.

Journey could well have toured successfully here in the 80's, but those days are long gone.

Rush have always sold well over here. There is a huge difference between Rush and Journey in the UK. Rush have always sold pretty well, Journey haven't. It's as simple as that.

I'm sure they would have no problem with an arena tour of the UK, which has a good promotion behind it and comprised of less than 10 dates, similar to the recent RUSH tour. It would be a shame to see a good band like Journey playing support to anyone, but if thats the only way to get to see them it will have to do.
Now you have me thinking of a Bon Jovi/Journey or Aerosmith/Journey or maybe even a Van Halen/Journey tour............

Mr Rock. You make some good points, but we shall have to agree to disagree with the Arena thing if you don't mind..

Funny you mention Aerosmith though, as i am fairly sure that was one of the bands that Neal mentioned when we chatted with him 3 years ago. It may have even been Jovi too. My brother was the one who chatted to him regarding a tour of Europe, so i would have to check what bands he mentioned.

Would be pretty cool (imo).
