David Pack Will Perform His Hit Song 'You're The Biggest Part of Me' as a Wedding Gift From Country Star Billy Dean to His New Bride
Friday May 6, 8:00 am ET

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- "Let Them Be Little" Country music star Billy Dean is not only celebrating a top 10 hit on Curb records, he is getting married this Saturday (May 7th) and he's giving a gift of music to his beautiful bride Stephanie at their private ceremony in Brentwood, TN by flying his longtime friend and songwriting collaborator David Pack (former Ambrosia singer/guitarist) in from Los Angeles to sing his hit song "You're The Biggest Part of Me" as part of their wedding ceremony.

Billy Dean and David Pack recently collaborated on an unreleased tribute to Reverend Billy Graham, co-writing the song "Thank You Billy Graham" with Pat Boone. The song and video tribute was produced by David Pack and features Bono, Leann Rimes, Michael McDonald, DC Talk, Andrae Crouch, Tim McGraw, CNN's Larry King, and others.

"I am extremely honored that my good friend Billy asked me to perform at his wedding," Pack said. "I know that Stephanie is the biggest part of his heart. I wish them a lifetime of wedded bliss, both on and off his tour bus."

David Pack's forthcoming new CD "The Secret of Movin On" will be released this coming August on Concord Records. The CD features guest appearances by Ann Wilson (Heart), Steve Perry (Journey), Timothy B. Schmidt (The Eagles), David Benoit, and Dewey Bunnell (America). The single "The Secret of Movin On" a duet with Heart's Ann Wilson ships to radio in late June. The CD artwork also features original oil paintings by longtime Elton John songwriter Bernie Taupin.
"In Journey, all the hit songs we had were based around Steve Perry's vocals."

It's probably stuck in the same place as the Houston '81 DVD.

Found this in an interview with Steve Perry on Fan Asylum:

Congratulations on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star! I'm glad you went to the ceremony. Your singing is the only reason I started listening to Journey. Do you have any upcoming projects?
SP: The only thing I've worked on lately is a David Pack solo CD. David and I wrote a song called, "A Brand New Start" where I sang backgrounds with David, and Timothy Schmidt from the Eagles. I also sang some answer lead vocals in the "title turn around" and in "the bridge." I think his CD is slated for release around May of this year. I'm finally out of all my old contracts which I signed in 1978 and I'm diggin' not being signed to anything or anybody. Freedom is a good thing but lately I am getting a little sprung to do something. I'm just not sure what!

David Pack's official site (www.davidpack.com) says the CD is being released in August.

Man but I wish that Perry were doing that duet with Wilson. Their voices would be great together.

I am guessing the one he signed was with Columbia, and was "Infinite" if you know what I mean..

**raising hand** 8)

Well, I think it's just another way of saying that you are singing lead in the Chorus....because within the Chorus is where the "title" is found.

I could be wrong, tho...anyone else?
