Ebay Assholes

You see these jackoffs on ebay, selling Generations for 40 bucks and up! I guess that is totally legal, but damn, how are the Band supposed to get new listeners? Most of them say, "sealed." Hell, I would have burned a copy then resealed it, but I'm not an ebay asshole either!

The one good thing, is people are paying top dollar for it. Hell, now I think of it, I should sell mine, for 50, and buy two new ones when they come out. That way the band doesn't lose any dough... But I won't..

Nealisgod and NC, keep an eye on your mail boxes  Surprise is a comin..

I can´t see there´s any wrong selling the CD´s on ebay ?.
Don´t judge what´s legal.
There are fans who are willing to pay , whom can´t be at the concert´s.
Why make a big deal out of it?.
If some one want´s to pay $61 let them...!.
Let them do what they want with there money.

I'm not sure who the people are who are selling their CDs. I was handing the CD out with the Street Team in San Diego and most people come to the show in groups--so a family might get 4 CDs. I am hoping the people selling them are people who just have extras. Or maybe people who have gone to multiple shows. That is not such a bad thing if it gets the CD out at least. Better than burning them anyway. It's too bad it's not for sale. People who have comp tix were not entitled to a CD and in S.D. most asked how much the CD was like they would buy it if they could.

Hey, if someone can make $60 off a CD then good luck to them.
It doesn't make them a scumbag. It's perfectly legal and hardly makes anyone less of a Journey fan....

Selling the CD is not illegal. But some people were trying to cheat the Street Team out of extra copies...I am sure that was so they COULD sell extra copies and make some money. That is bad...

Of course, one way to combat this would be to release the cd to www.journeyswag.com and let everyone know it. That would drive the cost down on eBay!

Good point jrnyman28..release it online at least...

I literally didn't mean they were scumbags....Know what they should have done, is give the CD away AFTER the show, so those people that left early can bite me.

Also, if you think about it, I could open mine up, burn it, then reseal it, and sell it..it isn't that hard to finagle people...

Sorry for the post.

My main point was how much they are going for....

They can't do that until after Frontiers releases their versions or after the tour I bet.

Who are you responding to? What is legal?Certainly selling one you got at a concert is, but the band selling the same thing they are giving at the concert before the Frontiers release date is probably not something Frontiers would like at all.

I'm guessing, and this is just my opinion, that many who are selling the CD on ebay are making a few bucks to pay for more concerts down the line, seing how there are a TON of fans going to 5, 6 or 7 concerts on this tour.
