City Of The Angels (Just bad)
Daydream (huh?)
Can Do [(See what happens when you let Valory sneak (R, not D. Valory) into a writing session?]
Velvet Curtain (pppfffffttttt)
Why Can't This Night Go On Forever? (Thank Christ it didn't)
Escape (kinda trite, plus victim of setlist cement)
Don't Be Down On Me, Baby (Why? Why the word "Baby?")
Easy To Fall (Easy to write, in a big hurry. Hard to mask that fact)
ROR (Again, place in the hackneyed title track bucket)
Any Of Those Damn Mowtown Covers From The ROR Tour (abominations, one and all)
Lifetime Of Dreams (Main Offense being the lyric "Baby" after "When I Look In Your Eyes")
When You Love A Woman (Jonathan, wasn't this one of the "most played songs of 1997 and nominated for a grammy?" Think I heard that disclaimer at a show or 60 when this was played)
All The Way (kinda eh...but singlehandedly dragged onto the list by the couple in the 2001 dvd)
Time's yours.

I love all three of those tunes. I love the staccato-style solo by Neal in "City of the Angels". "Escape" is one of my favorite Journey tunes and I think "Why Can't This Night Go on Forever" is a very underrated ballad. I pretty much agree with the others, though.

I like ROR live because of Randy's bass solo.
I bet Ross could do a great bass solo, with those faces and that squirty thang, it would be riot.

There could've been so much better stuff from the record played on that tour like Once You Love Somebody, Positive Touch, It Could Have Been You

I agree, OYLS is my favorite ROR track. Didn't know they didn't play it, what a shame.
I was in Europe and missed that tour, so I only have a few boots to go by.

Think about how much more ass "Frontiers" would have kicked if they had left that out and instead included "Only the Young" or "Ask the Lonely" or both, for that matter.
