No, guys - I'm sorry -- I'm not criticizing anyone that wants to go see them but I have no desire to unless SP is there singing front and center. It wouldn't be the same and never will be, without him. That's just my opinion.

You're missing out on a great show, an energized band with an incredible front man that can sing like no other. Don't hold your breath for Perry's return

I used to feel the same way at one point, but after doing alot of soul searching, and reading... I came to the conculsion that Steve P. will never be fronting Journey. He has said that it is in his past, and will not do it.

Now for not going to see Journey in concert. I highly recommend it. I went last night and had a blast. I hadn't seen any Journey show since 86, and this one rocked my socks off !!

It isn't any disrespect to Steve P. to see Journey you know. JSS puts on one hell of a show. He does the songs justice in his own way. And his way rocks ! :D

You have THE most perfect name here on this board...

Why dont you try giving the boys a chance..?

I love the Perry-era Journey too....but it's like a sweet memory y'know....not all good things last forever, dude....they end sometimes....and they become a memory...no one can take that away from you....

Damn, I wish I were living over there....I'd give anything to go to a Journey concert, whoever it may that fronts the band....

Just my 2 nuts, man....

Steve Perry and Journey will never perform together again, I know it's hard for some people to let go, but PLEASE save your sanity and LET GO...!!!! What's done is done...

I think you should go out and see Journey with JSS and enjoy the music...

I actually agree...kind of. You're right, it's NOT the same...will NEVER be. Augeri and JSS can't touch Perry...and while JSS has a much stronger voice than Augeri...fuck, give it a shot....are you against having fun? I'll guarantee you have a good time with the current members. IT'S STILL A FUCKIN' JOURNEY CONCERT.

Hi, welcome, nice to meet you...

As you can see, I was very nice in my reply -- no need to be an a** about it. We are all entitled to our own opinions - as for being fairly new, I have read this board for a long time - hardly ever post and now you know why. I don't need to be treated like this, nor do I deserve to be treated like this. For this reason, I won't post here again.

Hey Foolish Heart - don't worry about it - it seemed like an entirely reasonable view to me. In fact, I felt this way myself for a long time and I went against my instincts when I saw Journey earlier this year...and they were a load of shit, to be honest. A totally depressing, empty experience.

I'm curious about seeing Journey with JSS though...so if they ever play the UK again I'll go.
