JSS

I received my Tailsman 7 CD yesterday.

I have given it two full spins so far.

All I can say about it is..... WOW!!!!!!!

This is a very good CD. JSS and the Tailsman have some real talent!!!!

To me for some reason JSS sounds like a cross between a rocking Mike Reno( Hot Girls In Love) and Rainbow (Street of Dreams on the Tailsman song 'Shed A Tear Goodbye')

I hope Neal and the gang realize what they have got in JSS.

I will post more later about this CD.

I REALLY like it . GREAT purchase!!!

Jeff is an extremely talented vocalist and I have no doubt Neal appreciates his talent. That's why when Steve went down, JSS was the man that was asked to help keep the Tour going.

Yeah, I've now seen my first show with Jeff and he's knockout. You're never going to beat Perry but Jeff is a joy to watch and listen to and most importantly...HE ROCKS! Thank the gods! That soft shoe shuffle thing, sorry WIGGLE, should be kept for the likes of Simply Red.

Jeff wasn't asked to "keep the tour going", Dick ( can I call you Dick, Richard?).
He was asked to take over singing duties for Mr Augeri for the tour, the added on dates and 'for good'...

When you gonna get a clue?

Well Carlitto, the official word still has not been made, so you know, there still is a chance that Stevie Awesome can return! WOOHOO!

Somebody kill me for that remark.

I'm glad that Jeff's recent exposure in Journey is "turning on" a lot of new people to his past work, which kicks ass. The Talisman catalogue is excellent...and it's a crime that most music fans here in the US have been missing it. Just proves that there is a lot of good music out there that often goes unheard.

I now return you to the shit-slinging....

If I were you Dick, I would just end it today. Forget about eggs in your grill....Dude, just jump off your nearest bridge and get the fuck outta of here. Run onto the Interstate, lay across the RR tracks, run into an alligator pool whatever it takes. Please go kill yourself.

You embarrassed yourself with your idiotic words.

Oh by the way, I really am stumped at this mornings' H2H.

Forever in Blue vs Topaz vs It Could Have Been You. Shit, I am so stumped. The absolute gayest shit ever.

I've only heard the 1:30 clip of "Shed a tear goodbye" from Talisman 7 and I gotta say -- This is about as melodic a song as Journey has ever done. Instantly catchy. If this is what Journey will sound like with Jeff I'm not gonna miss Perry or Augeri very much.

You know I have taken Andrews advice 4 times and this is the first time it has paid off for me.

I purchased Hugos CD because Andrew bragged about it. Didnt Like It at all. His voice was great but the songs sucked. It was like listening to Steve Perry sing Baby Im A Leavin you over and over again. Horrible music.

I also purchased a Harem Scream & Totos latest Cd on Andrews advice.

BOTH are AWEFUL in my opinion. I used to like Toto too.

But, this JSS offering is DAMN GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really wonder if Journey would changed their name now if it would help them become relevent today.

JSS sounds nothing like either Steve.

Does the Journey name hold them back in todays music scene????

I dont have a clue to that answer, all I know is this CD kicks ass, and Journey found a keeper in their new lead singer.

Doesnt Shed A Tear Goodbye sound like Rainbows Street Of Dreams ???

There are some real kickass tunes on this CD. I cant wait to get back in my car tonight to listen to it again!!

A friend on here just sent me several HUGO cds, how can you not like Hugo Yogi? Any hardcore Journey enthusiast must like if not love Hugo, imo. :)

Cause his songs suck.

My four year old son could write as well, and my seven year old daughter could write better!!!!

His voice is great, but not his music.

Have to agree. The voice is there but the songs are like incidental music from an episode of Miami Vice. Shite.

Gee, this is turning into a slashfest! Maybe its because he only had about $900 behind him for the writing talents compared to someone like Journey who has $9 million.... j/k, I have absolutely no facts to back up anything I say on this board......but I still love Hugo....

Carl-
Rich is currently preoccupied recieving his daily mustache ride from George.
On his behalf, I will kindly ask u refrain from engaging in innuendos and speculation at this time.

As you know, the only place for the latest news and updates about the band is at journeymusic.com.

Thank you.

Yogi, I didn't know JSS was in a band called Tailsman? Sounds like a bunch of homos.

Are you sure it isn't Talisman?

I've always supported Jeff, even well before Journey. Always will.

Not to mention barnyard sodomy rights.

Is it true u frequent Sizzler with a portable dialysis machine in tow, u fat malicious fuck.

I also hear you run that 24-hr online radio station merely because u no longer fit out the door of the computer room.

Any truth to that, or am I engaging in (GASP!) "rumor and innuendo"?
