True,7... :)

One thing more I like about this new line-up is that Jeff & Deen's voices mesh so well.
That's why I would love so much to hear them together doing Feeling That Way/Anytime! That would be a royal treat!

I don't know...the tempo is more accurate with JSS' version...I prefer the 1983 Boston show for SP and Who's Cryin' Now...

That really was a really cool version Shania. Deen sounded beyond awesome. Thanks for posting it 8) Really cool with JSS doing the back ups too. Wonder if it was hard for him to stand in one place behind the piano like that :D

Damn. Just damn. Deen is terrific! It's a pretty good quality video, too. Wish we could have a DVD of the whole show!

Also, did anyone notice, towards the end of the song, when Jeff has come back out front, that by the way they're standing, Jeff looks like a giant and Neal and Ross look like tiny little men? :D

Gotta love Deen! Such talent....truly amazing. Cool to see Jeff standing by Jonathon doing back up.......something I didn't see at any of the shows I attended.

Wow thanks Shania, that was fabulous! Deen is so friggin talented. I like when Jeff had his arm up, fist pounding the air cheering Deen on........no competition there, this band has such a good feel about it now. :) And damn do their voices mesh well, I soooooo want to hear those two do "Just the Same Way".

That's where the fight would begin, haha, I wanna do the Perry parts & there's no way Deen wants to do Gregg's parts...any of those oldies HAS to be Jon doing Gregg's parts & me & Deen fighting over the rest :)

Either of you guys singing Gregg's parts would sound weird. Jon does a nice job anyway. Maybe you can write a new duet for you and Deen for the next album?

Shania, thanks for posting the video. It's cool to see them harmonizing together! :D

PSA: If you have an account at Youtube, you might want to rate the videos. This one was down to 2 stars. I always rate the videos high, because there are peeps that will knock them down just because it's Jrny.

Definitely agree there. Jon and Gregg have similar-type voices which are completely different from Jeff's and Deen's. I like Jon doing all the old Gregg parts. Maybe Jeff and Deen could take the Perry parts on alternate shows or something...or, one takes the Perry parts on "Just The Same Way," and the other takes them on "Feeling That Way"

Agree 100%. Posts like this convince me that they oughta just turn over band management to fans like us. 8)

You're the lead singer aren't ya? Pull rank! He's just the drummer anyway.  Just kidding.

The first thing I saw of you and Deen harmonizing was an After The Fall soundcheck clip, it was great. I think NIG posted it quite awhile back.

Not trying to kiss butt Jeff, but I watched a couple of those you tube videos from Glasgow and your voice just seems very comfortable singing these songs now. Not to say you weren't comfortable from the beginning, but these songs are definitely becoming YOUR songs dude! My hat's off to you!

On the subject of Deen, what a great asset to have for a band. Not only is he one of the best rock drummers I have ever had the chance to witness, but he is also a great singer! It just makes me that much more excited about Journey...with the talent we have in this band.

Deen's voice is amazing. Very natural and powerful.
7/1/06 I was at the Borgata and we were lucky enough to get front row center ..

I had my camera and "click" I took the picture and he saw me doing it and smiled..
