I love this song SO much.Problem with this version is that Krauss is kinda weak,she changes the feeling of the song.Not sure if I like it too much.
I would have wanted her to sound a bit more 'desperate' in her delivery.She sounds emotionally flat.JMO,of course...

Man! he looks (JP) and sounds remarkable! I love Allison K., but ...there is a little something missing there I have to agree, she seems sedated.
She is singing on Ann Wilson's new solo album too, a duet? not sure.

I think that is the beauty of it.

In the original John looks more obsessed than in love.

In this one he really looks mature and warm and caring (didn't know he was such a good actor)

Krause seems so "Whatever" in the entire thing that I think it emphasizes Waite's warmness - they compliment each other.

In the end Waite looks like a nice guy realizing what is in his heart and the value of it - instead of some thrashing, hotel trashing punk like he did in the first one. Of course that guy was our "bad boy" - we've grown up and so has he, and this gives us a second chance with him - to either go for it or to walk away.

Seeing shit like this really pisses me off. I think they did a tremendous job on this duet. Very mature and sincere. Why can't Perry do something like this? I'm getting beyond frustrated with him. He could sing this well under water. Someone needs to give him a swift kick in the ass. My choice would be Foolish Heart. It distances him from Journey and it's a great song. He could do it with Gretchen Wilson or that Canadian skank Shania Twain. You need that country crossover to bring in the biggest audience possible.
