Perry obscure...

How come nobody mentions the work Perry did with Hagar on his Danger Zone album.
It's cool to hear Perry's voice with Hagar's.

Have never seen anybody mention it here. Thought I would.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

We've talked about it several times that I've been involved in. Cool stuff. I rotate the tunes on the iPod.

cool. I musta missed the threads. I'd totally forgotten those tracks until I recently downloaded DZ. That was a good Hagar album too.

Look for tunes titled Heartbeat, Ice Man, and Run For Your Life. Those are the three I have on a Perry rarities compilation. They may not be the only ones Steve sang on, but I know he sang on those and they're great.

It appears I'm missing one of the Sammy Hagar ones too:

Love Or Money (w/Steve Perry)

I also don't have one of the Barnes & Barnes ones:

Don't Be a Singer (with Steve Perry)

Anyone have them? They're not on iTunes, I checked.

Here's Don't Be A Singer, but Perry is not credited on the CD with this one (only Don't You Wanna Go To The Moon) and I can't detect him on it:

http://www.yousendit.com/download/elNLU ... Yk0wTVE9PQ

And the Crosby Stills Nash & Young track is called Soldiers Of Peace and is from an album called American Dream. Not sure whether it's available on iTunes.

Red13, I will now make u very happy.

I bought & immediately deleted that piece of shit song Perry co-wrote w/Friga mentioned above. NOT everything the man touched is gold after hearing that.

There, bet u never thought u'd hear an old loon like me say that, huh?

On the list above, I think Perry only had songwriting credits on the Schon-Hammer song. I have everything but the Frick song and Schon and Hammer. :D

No, I'm just super-protective of Sallee b/c she's an absolute lady. No one stands & says a bad word about her if I'm around. EVEN if they think they're being funny.
