Hi folks.

I have been made aware of a VERY serious attempt by an obsessed Journey asshole fan to RUIN MelodicRockFest.

This insane lunatic is e-mailing the venue and press outlets that are lined up to promote my event calling on them to boycott the event and boycott all promotion of this event due to racism on THIS message board and citing as an example that half-assed Pilipino blog article of last week.

I KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS AND AM OBTAINING LEGAL ADVICE ON WHETHER SHE CAN BE SUED FOR DEFAMATION AND WHETHER SHE CAN BE SUED FOR POTENTIAL LOSS OF INCOME ETC ETC.

I will not hold back on this - this IS MY LIVELIHOOD we are talking about and I will NOT BE SLANDERED BY SOME MALICIOUS GROUPIE and I will not allow my 10th Anniversary Show to placed under such an absurd cloud.

Your opinions please.

Expose this parasite. Any information you have about 'her', make it public here. You have a legion of people that will do anything for you. While I can't make the show, I'll help you in any way I can in this matter.

She should consider the consequences of her actions and I am sure that may people would like to get hold of her if her actions cause financial damage to this website (which I seriously cannot handle).

Obviously someone needs to get a fucking life!! Honestly, do they really think that the people going to this show are going to change their mind? "Hello it's Rock N Roll!!" They are going to drink and listen to good music!!! They could give a shit about any politics that surround a band who isn't even on the bill

Andrew - I am sorry that you are having to deal with some nutjob this close to the show. It sounds like you are getting the right kind of advice and the venue is backing you. That is the best you can do with it. I, too, would be interested in knowing if there is someone we can email to show support for you, the site, and the show. I would be MORE than happy to tell anyone and everyone how great all of this is. Shame on this psycho for trying to eff it up!!!!!
