GAME DAY BABY!!! Packers vs Cowboys...

Postby lights1961 » Fri Nov 30, 2007 1:29 am

only 10th freaking thread about the NFL in the last three weeks, but hey this game will rock tonight!! Work will be diffifult this afternoon! My thoughts are Cowboys squeak out a 35-31 win. (if played in GRB I would say the Packers slight edge..) It could be more scoring than that---especially if the cornerbacks cant stop any of the receivers on either team. as usual, turnovers and special teams will be the key!

Oh, yeah, I forgot that was on tonight. I predict Cowboys take it tonight, but lose in Ice Bowl II in January.

I'm pretty sure that if the Cowboys win tonight, there won't be any "Ice Bowl" in January. The team that wins tonight essentially has a two game league over the other team (due to the head to head win). Essentially the team that wins tonight is going to have the home field advantage in the playoffs, and I'm pretty sure there will be no Ice Bowls happening in Dallas!

You could be right. Dallas' remaining games are @ Detroit, hosting Philly, @ Carolina and @ Washington.

GB had the Raiders at home, then goes to St. Louis and Chicago, then at home against Detroit. Both should win all of their remaining games, but I could see GB stumbling in Chicago.

There were a lot of people getting off of airplanes today at DFW, wearing that nauseating color scheme and that number. ;)

One more for good measure...

I love this... brings a tear to my eye. Seriously. And not just because of Brett's sideburns.

Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever have played the game. A definite first round hall of famer. Would you be saying he needs to go away if he played for your beloved Vikings??????
