BILL HAS A 'DREAM'
EX PREZ NODS OFF DURING MLK AWARD PRESENTATION
Post Staff Report
Bill repeatedly lies about Obama and gets away with it. Lets be honest with ourselves- we all know he is a liar. Why does he get a free pass to lie repeatedly and never gets called to task? Lets call a spade a spade...

January 21, 2008 -- Bill Clinton showed yesterday why he made it into the book "The Art of Napping."

During an appearance at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem, the former president was caught nodding off.

Clinton was there during a service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while his wife was nearby at Abyssinian Baptist Church, where she was endorsed by its minister, Rev. Calvin Butts.

Clinton has had napping episodes before. Among others, he nodded off at a Mets game and at Ronald Reagan's funeral.

When he was president, he told Dan Rather, "If I can take a nap, even 15 or 20 minutes in the middle of the day, it is really invigorating to me. On the days when I'm a little short of sleep, I try to work it out so that I can sneak off and just lie down for 15 minutes, a half an hour, and it really makes all the difference in the world."

Reagan slept through half his Presidency, anyway. He was either overtaken by Alzheimer's during his last five years, or the biggest bullshit artist in the history of the White House.

He looked awake during some of it, according to reports, he was called out by Atlanta's mayor on his dogging of Obama.

You are an asshole lights1961.

Care to say who wrote this? Doesn't matter. You filthy right wing scumbags have NO record to run on, so hey, guess what, smear Clinton.

FYI, Bill Clinton suffers from severe sleep disorder.

Asshole.

Cite your sleazy source.

You obviously are clueless to what goes on here. These republican doorknobs take swipes at Clinton, because that is the Standard Operating Procedure with them. They have not only manged to fuck up this country, but they have managed to fuck up the entire world as well. There is a reason NO ONE likes us. I can take shots at them, because their record is present and in sight. I don't take cheapies on them, and i certainly don't bash a president of past, like they do with Clinton./

Face it, they are out of ammo, out of luck, and soon out of fucking office.

Listen Deano...I am certainly not clueless as to what goes on here. I merely said I didn't think the post as written was an attempt to smear anyone.

The fact that you hold the opinions you hold doesn't change that statement. And before you label me as one of "them" I'd suggest you recognize I was ONLY speaking about the post in and of itself. Certainly there have been some really crappy posts in the name of politics.

But I think in this case only...it didn't come across as a smear.

Oh I hear you loud and clear Liz. The article as written was ok, but the poster posted it to get my blood boiling. The article is accurate, but that fuckhole won't cite a source, and to be completely honest with you, on two accounts, 1) I am not taking anymore republican smear attempts whether you Styxies think it is intentional or not; I will shoot first then listen... and 2) who the Hell wouldn't nod off at a MLK rally?

And when would this approach be any different than any other time for you? Your blood boils only if you let it. Personally I'm of the opinion that if I think someone is posting something simply to piss me off I would find it humorous.

No one I know would fall asleep under normal circumstances. He's human. Something we're all guilty of being. Nothing for you to get yourself so worked up about. You and I both know there are many things people do that they never atone for. Now don't we?

But by all means...if it gets your rocks off to go ballistic over this...feel free. Not like anything I say will change that.

Liz, fighting you will only leave me in a poor prospective place, so I defer.

However, you should look up the word "passion."

I know quite well the meaning of the word. I also think it's a catchall with you...something you hide behind to justify some of your comments.

What the Hell is wrong with you? I hide behind passion to justify my stances? Oh please expound on this. See, it seems to me you have been watching me in action for the last 2 or 3 years because to know what you know about me, without having any contact with since December 2005, strikes me as odd.

Nothing is wrong with me. Nothing odd about it. You and I both know that you tend to go off half cocked more often than not. You claim it's passion. I said it was something you hide behind because it makes it easier for you to justify some of your posts. You can and often are a very entertaining person. I've no doubt you believe what you say when you say it. But we also know that there are things you've said that you've had to retract or change...simply because that "passion" of yours got in the way.

Suffice it to say that you won't see things in the same light as I do. I'm cool with that. I assure you I know the meaning of the word passion.

Don't know if you have seen this but here's a classic clip of Rush nailing that phony Clinton. So many people bought his, "I feel your pain", "I was virtually obsessed with Bin Laden" garbage. Yeah right. Complete fraud. Kudo's for signing welfare reform after vetoing it twice though. :D

Ted Kennedy is a piece of shit, but Bill is talking too much. I agree, he is hurting her that way, but of course there are many ways he helps. He is after all the best ever politician this country has ever seen.

She can hold her own. This is her race to lose. She has it won as of right now. In fact, if she gets the states that she is expecting on Super Tuesday, she will get the nomination and destroy the republican nominee. She wins by 4-6 points IMO. If she takes Obama as VP, which I don't think she will, she wins by 7-9.

You really are a "yes" man, aren't you? No matter how much 100% indisputable information I throw down (see the Politics forum), and no matter how much information surfaces proving Clinton warned Bush about Bin Laden and said it would be Bush's #1 policy concern...that Clinton tripled spending on anti-terrorism legislation, despite the protestations of the Republican Congress...it's never enough.

You quote a known liar and disinformationalist / disinfotainer like Limbaugh...come on, man. 90% of what that guy says are either entirely or partially factually inaccurate. He's a bag of wind.

I don't think Bush is the greatest ever pres, but he isn't nearly as bad as most (especially the media) would have you believe.

Don't you people ever get tired of debating these topics? You will NEVER change anyone's opinion on these types of subjects.

Peace all.

Hey Tom, I think Bush is happy there is only 24 hours in a day. He is so bad, there isn't time to report all of the scandal, lies and filth he and his administration exudes.

I never get tired of calling this sonofabitch out. He and Cheney should be impeached, and more importantly, removed from office.
