Anyone?

I support Everton in Britain, and loosely follow the Houston Dynamos.

Bunch of long haired greasy unbathed pussies running all over the place passing this giant spotted ball back and forth. Then, all of a sudden, some Euro goes down like he is shot, and is about 20 yards from the actual ball. The referee(who is obviously a bigger pussy than an actual player, because he can't play himself), blows his whistle and hands out a red card. What in THE fuck is that about? Then you hot the hooligan "fans" who get all liquored up on Guiness(motor oil) and start rioting because the game itself is so fucking boring.

No, no need for that shit here.

Then you have the Beaners here in the USA, who come to watch their beloved team of taco eaters play the US. They get down 1-0 (yeah, shocking they scored isn't it?)...and start chanting "Osama, Osama" all the while throwing ziplock bags of urine, yes Mexi-urine onto the USA players. Fuck, I hope Hillary points the guns south and blows that giant steaming heap of donkey shit place Mexico into oblivion. Now I am fired up. I'm not tipping the car wash guy next time I go in.

No offense to our friends across the pond, but we don't give a shit about soccer in this country, and NEVER will! Also, you'll NEVER hear an American referring to soccer as "football". It will always be soccer here, and nobody outside of high school will ever care! We have four major sports in this country (I guess really 3 and a half, with hockey being the half), and there is simply no room for soccer! It's officially the most BORING game I've ever watched in my life! I'd rather watch flies fuck

At least golf and bowling have an actual score and something to keep track of. Hell, in soccer, you don't even usually need more than one or two fingers to keep score. My Grandpa could've kept score with one hand and he blew off three fingers with dynamite when he worked in the oil fields.

So it makes it more exciting when "points" are scored.

Not necessarily. A 1-0 hockey game is usually exciting as hell. Fast paced with alot of action.

Dude...you're missing the fucking point! Soccer isn't that difficult to "understand". We simply don't give a fuck! The goalkeepers all weigh 97 lbs (or whatever the fuck you Brits call it)...the nets are the size on Montana, and nobody can score a fucking goal! It has nothing to do with our ability to understand. It's simply a mindless activity, and we have more interesting things to do in this country! I've had people tell me for years that soccer is "the most popular game on the planet", and I'll tell you what I've always told them...It's the most popular sport, OUTSIDE of this country, which once again means WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK. One more thing...We don't give a fuck about Cricket or Polo either

Soccer has riots complete with riot police and tear gas.
Anyway if soccer officials don't even care enough to use a friggin clock, why should I care?

I do agree with the politics argument. You got that right. We do love our sports though. It's something we have that we're proud of. Our politicians, not so much.

I personally love watching soccer. I prefer watching Premiership play, and stuff like the UEFA champions league, FA Cup, etc.

My favorite team is Tottenham Hotspur. I also like watching Blackburn Rovers (Got two friends from Blackburn), Watford, and a few Italian league teams like A.C. Milan, Inter, and Juventus.

Amen! It's the only sport I've ever seen where only the referees know how much time is left! Beyond goofy! Incidentally, I don't think your hockey analogy is a good one. Sure, a 1-0 game in hockey can be exciting as hell. In fact, I'd much rather watch a 1-0 hockey game than one with 10 goals scored! The difference in hockey is that it's a MUCH faster paced game that is played on a MUCH smaller surface! Not to mention, a hockey goal is about 80% smaller than a soccer goal, and you're still guaranteed to see MUCH more scoring in a hockey game! Soccer players always look like they're running around on a leisurely jog, looking for their next cup of tea! Completely PAINFUL to watch! It's the only sport I can think of where scoring is virtually impossible! I think the average 80 year old is still probably scoring more in a year than Manchester United

Bullshit. The only reason it's the most popular are all those fuckin 3rd world states like Uruguay, Rwanda, Nigeria and Cameroon can't afford to put up basketball courts or they can't afford baseball bats or hockey equipment.

Seriously, these poor as dirt motherfuckers play with a coconut and a couple trees for goal posts.

Soccer takes the piss, big time.

I support Glasgow Rangers but i keep an eye on Everton cos Moyes is doing a good job - ignore the ignorant comments. Yanks are not keen on a game unless something happens every two seconds.remember when they wanted to dumb it down and make the goals bigger? Sheesh....The premiership race looks good just now but is becoming a bit tired which is why i hope Everton get a top four spot and shake it up a bit - I must admit tho - USA 94 was a great world cup - apart from having to get up in the middle of the night to watch some games.
My team could be in with a shout for the UEFA cup - you never know - but, you were very unlucky to lose to Fiorentina.
