This should be the first stop for all the new Arnel fans who don't know much more than DSB and Faithfully, sort of a Journey 101 course online.

I want to hear Arnel take a crack at "Stay Awhile". It's my favorite Journey Ballad, short but sweet.

Man if I thought I could get away with posting some recent stuff I would. I actually tried to post one video from the Las Vegas DVD, but I got an upload error and thought better of it. I could just see them yanking that video and then get on a tangent and yank them all. Not just from me, but from all of the people posting them. I certainly didn't want to start the domino effect. So I decided not to try it again.

No need for the current stuff, the Pinoy nation has that part taken care of on Youtube anyway. Maybe more S.A. fronted clips if you could get away with it, 8 years should have provided a few memorable moments. It would make for a nice historical walk through the Legacy of Journey.

I agree with that. All I have is the Vegas DVD of SA. Any song in particular?

Higher Place would be great!
Do you have one of Stevie A leading the crowd in singing Neal's guitar outro on Who's Crying Now?

Just got back from a Tecate run at the market. You're awesome Rick. S.A. is becoming the forgotten man. For better or worse, Journey might very well have faded into the sunset without Augeri's contribution to the band.

Absolutely true. I have much respect for Augeris tenure. He was a great frontman for Journey.

The video is uploading and at 40% right now. Will post a link when it's done.

  Rick, I was ready to come in here and give you a piece of my mind. I didn't catch the (vid) in your post and thought you were leaving or something.

Great list of vids! This one's always a lot of fun too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECL0a26PdLw

I have gotten half way through your instructions and have been able to splice the beginning and end off of a clip I chose, but haven't gotten any further yet. Due to time, not due to your instructions, they're great and easy to follow! :D LOL, you'll be the first one to know once I've done one right through. Here's part of an email I just got.  Didn't take them long.

Dear YouTube Member:

Your video is still live because Sony/BMG has authorized the use of this content on YouTube. As long as Sony/BMG has a claim on your video, they will receive public statistics about your video, such as number of views. Viewers may also see advertising on your video's page.

Wow, So they are saying that the video can stay up but you may have to allow advertisements? So you will be a Sony advertiser of sort if you use their product. If we get to see the video then I don't mind a few adverts but of course It's depending on how you feel about it.

Sony may see your site as a way to peddle their back catalog of Journey stuff, since they no longer have a deal with the current band.
