Want To Buy Original Perry Tux Tails

Postby WIX » Thu Dec 04, 2008 5:54 am

I wish to purchase a get up of Steve Perry originally worn Tux Tails. Would pay fair market value.

Please shoot me a PM if you have said get up for sale, please shoot me your best price.

And while I am here posting I would like to wish my good friend Steve Perry the Bestest Holiday ever. :D

You run through my mind everyday like a migrane that hurts so good.

But.. Would it really make you feel like you were part of the band?

no, when I put on the tails it would make me feel like I wasn't part of the band. But I am willing to deal with that mental aspect of it all.

I have convinced all of my immediate family that I am steve perry. They want the tails for final validation.
Hell, I mean I can't blame them. The legal name change is almost done.

Can't help you on that, but I have black ones. I have no proof that Steve actually wore them, but I'm under the belief he DID because there's no way any kind of tailcoat would be small enough to fit me unless they actually were his. I have no plans to sell them though.

ROR tuxes

Postby chynablue » Thu Dec 04, 2008 7:29 am

Remember when ROR came out they were selling official Raised on Radio tuxes with the loco up in the left pocket? I thought that was hysterical. Found it odd that they never popped up on ebay or anyplace else.

And that's a good thing. Anybody sporting that kind of ROR gear would have received a marble upside their head via my slingshot (after which I would have ran to safer ground and hurled taunts at them in broken French).

The Fonz's jacket was A MILLION times more famous and recognizable than the Perry tails.

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Ahhhhhhhh, you seen my tip to the hat of famous artist Duchamp? He took a urinal and put R. Mutt on it and called it art. Caused quite a stir. Now it is a famous "artwork". What was the devil giving me a rasberry about? :D
